2010 Petit Verdot
BRONZE - NCW WINE AWARDS
Meaning “small green” in French, Petit Verdot is a hit-or-miss varietal as it is so late to mature, and sometimes does not ripen at all. This is not the case with our 2010 Petit Verdot. With aromas of smoke, leather, and earth tones, and a mid-palate of peppers and spice, this wine wants to be paired with red meat and aged cheese.
2012 Petit Verdot
SILVER - NCW WINE AWARDS
This is a big wine — big in fruit, big in tannins. Lots of dark, ripe mulberry with hints of lavender, musk and violets. Finishes with bold tannins and oak. Pairs well with game meat such as elk or venison, and other full-flavored meats, like lamb.
